rally navigator training

Cross country rally Competition
DAKAR Rally, Rally FIA, BAJA in Europe, African rallies...
Roadbook, checkpoints, heading... Because getting to the right place is everything. The navigator's role in cross country rally is decisive! That's why I've developed a range of training courses to teach you every facet of the job. Whether you ride a bike or crew a car, with over 3,500 km of dedicated roadbooks, there's bound to be a route that suits you and meets your needs. You'll also learn to master modern navigation instruments: Unik 4, Stella, Terra pirata, Iris as well as the traditional paper roadbook: I have the knowledge and the equipment to train you on each of them.
Orientation Rally / Women's Rally
rallye rose des sables, rallye des gazelles ....
Navigation in orientation rallies is a real challenge — no landmarks, deep in the heart of the desert. Competitors must draw on their expertise, using topographic maps, a compass and their sense of direction to plot their way across varied terrain, from sand dunes to rocky plateaus. This demanding challenge tests not only navigation skills but also the ability to work as a team in extreme conditions. On this type of event, the focus is on tools suited to orientation: various models of Tripy units and trackers, which I teach you to use to secure your navigation and manage your heading without ever losing track of your route.

Regularity Rally / Historic Rally
DAKAR Classic, Tour Auto, Historic rallies...
Whether aboard a classic or a modern car, on roads or off-road, regularity rallies are a serious challenge for the co-driver. On top of navigation, the co-driver has to juggle the tripmaster, the average-speed computer, pace calculations and many other tasks all at once. On tarmac or off-road, come and learn the techniques that will help you master these skills and stay comfortable in any situation. On the equipment side, you'll learn to handle the instruments specific to regularity: average-speed computer, Tripy, Rabbit, speed tables and other calculation tools, to hold your average to the tenth of a second whatever the conditions.
